
Ford UK has released the new version of performance 2008 Ford Focus ST tuned by its in-house tuner, Ford TeamRS, which benefits from the new exterior and interior styling changes.
The Focus ST is powered by a 2.5 liter turbocharged 5-cylinder Duratec engine producing 225 PS. The car clocked 6.8 seconds from 0 to 62 mph with the top speed of 150 mph.
The Ford Focus comes with ST, ST-2 and ST-3 trims and also 3 or 5-door hatchback bodystyles. Standard for all the versions are powerful braking system, Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) and Traction Control, 18-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels, sports styling, body-hugging Recaro sports seats, a unique sports steering wheel and upgraded instrumentation.
Apart from that, the Focus is also fitted with ‘Ford Power’ starter button and Easyfuel capless refuelling system while the ST-2 is getting a Sony audio system, bi-xenon lights, LED rear lights and Quickclear heated windscreen while the ST-3 comes with an in-dash 6 CD player and full leather trim.
The price for the 2008 Ford Focus ST is set from £18,250 – £20,850.
