Not long after the release of the Ford FG Falcon series, Ford Performance Vehicles (FPV) of Australia has release its version of high performance FG Falcon at the 2008 Melbourne International Motor Show. One of them is the FPV F6 series.
The FPV F6, for the first time, will display FPV badge instead of Ford badge at the center grille and center boot lid.
The FPV F6 comprises of F6 Sedan and F6 ute which are powered by a 4.0-liter in-line turbocharged 6 cylinder engine and reported to be able to deliver 402 hp (300 kW) and 550 Nm of torque.
New safety feature is the addition of Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) on the FPV sedan & Ute vehicles for the first time. The FG Sedan and ute are both available with either a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.
