With the 2008 Geneva Motor Show just around the corner, BMW has released the details and images of the 2008 John Cooper Works (JCW) Mini Clubman on the internet.
The 2008 JCW Mini Clubman is powered by a 1.6-liter twin-scroll turbocharged petrol 4-cylinder engine mated to a 6-speed transmission producing 211 hp (155kW) and 260 Nm of torque. The Mini Clubman clocked 6.8 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. The top speed is at 238 km/h (148 mph).
To improve the air flow and to increase the power, works have been done on the air filter, mass airflow sensor, the exhaust system and the catalytic converter. The fuel consumption is at 7.0 liter per 100 km (33.6 mpg) and CO2 emission is at 167 g/km
Other features of the JCW Mini Clubman include high performance brakes, new exhaust system and lightweight 17-inch wheels. The 2008 JCW Mini Clubman is priced starting at €29,500.
