NISMO has released the 2008 version of the race-ready Fairlady Z Type 380RS-Competition which is on sale now. The Fairlady Z Type 380RS-Competition is priced at 28,350,000 yen and used strictly for racing on the track only.
The 2008 NISMO Fairlady Z Type 380RS-Competition is powered by a naturally-aspirated 3.8-liter VQ35HR V6 engine producing 350 hp and 321 lb-ft. of torque. The power is sent to a Nismo Super Coppermix clutch, then through a close-ratio 6-speed gearbox and mechanical LSD.
Adjustments have been made to the 380RS-Competition to ensure its compliance to the Super Taikyu regulations where the Fairlady Z Type 380RS-Competition competes in.
The race car is fitted with rear wing, catalytic converter, a roll cage, 6-pot Brembo brakes, carbon fiber door panels and bonnet, polycarbonate side and rear glass, a Recaro bucket seats, 6-point harness and a fire extinguisher.
