2008 Pontiac G8 GXP

Apart from the G8 Sport Truck, Pontiac is also presenting the Pontiac G8 GXP at the 2008 New York Auto Show.
The Pontiac G8 GXP is powered by a detuned Corvette’s LS3 6.2-liter V8 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic gearbox producing 402 hp and 546 Nm (402 lb.-ft) of torque.
Optional for customers is the new 6-speed Tremec TR6060 manual transmission. The G8 GXP clocked 4.7 seconds from 0 to 60 mph and a quarter mile in 13.0 seconds at 108 mph (174 km/h).
At the exterior, the G8 GXP features new front and rear fascia, 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped with 245/40R19 tires and meanwhile the interior features two-tone sport seats with GXP embroidery, a leather-trimmed steering wheel and gear shifter, and alloy sport pedals.
The Pontiac G8 GXP is expected to arrive at dealerships in late 2008.
