2008 Subaru Legacy 2.0D and Subaru Outback 2.0D

Subaru has announced that the new Subaru Legacy and Subaru Outback are powered by Subaru’s new 2.0 liter Boxer Diesel engine and will be unveiled at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show next month.

Subaru reported that the new Subaru 2.0 CRD Boxer Engine produces 147 hp/110 kw/150 PS at 3,600 rpm and 258 lb-ft/350 Nm of torque at 1,800 rpm. The diesel engine is also Euro 4 compliant where it produces 148 g/km of CO2 as found in the Subaru Legacy.

From the exterior, both the Legacy and Outback look similar to the petrol engined models except for the Boxer Diesel badge attached at the rear.
