Mercedes-Benz has facelifted its B-Class MPV only after 3 years in the market with the changes made on the exterior featuring a new radiator grille, redesigned bonnet with a more pronounced arrow shape, a new front bumper and rear bumper, new tail lamp lens design, and also mirror housings, door handles and skirt panels painted to match the body color.
On the interior, the facelifted Mercedes-Benz B-Class MPV features new upholstery fabric and new fabric pattern for the seat cushions or optional Artico faux leather.
The B-Class MPV is available in a choice of 6 engines i.e. 2 direct-injection diesel engines producing 109 hp (80 kW) and 140 hp (103 kW) with 300 Nm of torque. The other 4 are petrol engines producing up to 193 hp (142 kW) and 280 Nm of torque. The full line up are 95 hp B150, 109 hp B180CDI, 140 hp B200 CDI, 116 hp B170 and B170 NGT (flex-fuel model), 136hp B200 and a 193hp B200 Turbo range topper. The new B-Class also uses less fuel by 7 % compared to the previous model.
The B150 and B170 BlueEFFICIENCY models will come with ‘ECO’ engine stop-start technology where fuel savings of up to 9 % can be achieved, and also will come as a flex-fuel model where they can run on either petrol or natural gas and also park assist.
