2009 Mercedes-Benz S-Class and CL-Class AMG Sports Package


Mercedes-Benz has released an AMG Sports package for the 2009 Mercedes-Benz S-Class and CL-Class featuring revamped AMG bodystyling, attractive 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels and special interior details.
The AMG bodystyling for the S-Class and CL-Class consists of a front apron with large air intakes, a rear apron with a striking black insert and integrated, rectangular tailpipe trim in polished stainless steel and AMG side sills.
The car stands on 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels with a five-spoke design wrapped in 255/40 wide-base tires at the front and 275/40 wide-base tires at the rear. Optional 20-inch AMG light-alloy wheels with 255/35 and 275/35 tires are available.
Perforated brake discs and silver-painted brake callipers featuring Mercedes-Benz lettering are mounted on the front axle.
Inside, the car features wood trim and the wood/leather steering wheel in black ash, velour floor mats with AMG lettering and sports pedals in brushed stainless steel with rubber studs.
The AMG Sports package costs between 5,831 and 7,973 euros (including 19% VAT) which is available for all S-Class models with a short or long wheelbase, as well as for the CL 500 and CL 500 4MATIC. The Sports package will be launched in June 2009. The AMG Sports package is also available for the new E-Class Saloon, the new E-Class Coupé and the C-Class.
