
Mitsubishi will unveil the new 2009 Mitsubishi Galant at the Chicago Auto Show that will be held on 8-17 February 2008 at McCormick Place. The facelifted Galant will arrive at Mitsubishi US dealers somewhere in February.
The 2009 Mitsubishi Galant comes in 4 distinct trim levels and 3 performance levels such as the performance-tuned Galant Ralliart, the 4-cylinder ES, the new 4-cylinder Sport Edition, and the V-6 Sport.
At the exterior, the Galant features new hood lines, a new grille and lower intake, wider rear glass, new tail lamps and bumper treatment, a new deck lid with a center high-mounted stop-lamp (CHSL) and 17-inch alloy wheels for the Sports model.
The Galant Ralliart, tops the Galant model line, is powered by a 258 hp 3.8-liter MIVEC V-6 engine and equipped with a 5-speed Sportronic automatic transmission, comes with special Ralliart-tuned sport suspension, new 18-inch alloy wheels and exclusive exterior styling.
Meanwhile Galant ES and Sport edition models are powered by a 160 hp 2.4-liter MIVEC 4-cylinder engine, mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission with Sportronic. The new Sport V-6 model is powered by a 230 hp 3.8-liter V-6 engine.
All Galant models come standard with anti-lock brakes (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), dual-stage front airbags, front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, side front and rear curtain airbags and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). The Galant Spor tV-6 and Ralliart come with standard traction control to prevent wheel spin.

What´s this a hybrid, mishmash – Daewoo, old Mazda6, Chrysler.
Interior looks like cars from 1998. Definitely it´s big step behind!
Please don´t go to Europe, we need young, economical cars made of the light materials end of course a design is on the first place. Sorry it´s the disaster made this car for these days and the future.
