
Spanish car maker, SEAT, has released the 4th generation 5-door supermini Ibiza at SEAT’s headquarters at Martorell near Barcelona.
The design of the new SEAT Ibiza was by ex-Lamborghini stylist Luc Donckerwolke, and the car features a new 7-speed DSG automatic/sequential manual gearbox, Hill Hold Assist, front fog lights with side illumination (cornering) function and combined AUX-IN/USB connectivity.
The SEAT Ibiza will be powered by either a 70 PS 1.2-liter 3-cylinder, flexible 85 PS 1.4-liter 4-cylinder or a sporty 102 PS 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engines. All the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox with CO2 emissions of below 160 g/km. SEAT is also planning to equipped the newe Ibiza with a TDI diesel engine.
Safety features of the SEAT Ibiza consist of new head and thorax-focused front side airbags, and the extensive availability of ESP and TCS.
