Hyundai is planning to release the all-new Hyundai Genesis Coupe at the New York Auto Show starting on March 19, 2008 but few images manage to find their way on the internet. The Genesis Coupe is Hyundai’s first rear-wheel-drive coupe.
It is reported that the Hyundai Genesis Coupe will be powered by a 3.8-liter V6 engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox producing more than 300 hp. It could clocked 6 seconds from 0 to 60 mph.
The Genesis Coupe will also be coming with a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder unit producing 215 hp. Sales is expected to start in early 2009 in the US and the price starts at $19,900 for the 4-cylinder and $25,900 for the 6-cylinder.
