Mazda will present the all-new 2010 Mazda3 and MazdaSpeed3 at the 2009 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas.
The MazdaSpeed3 and the 2.5-liter are painted in Crystal White Pearl base coat with soft gray tone graphics to mimic the Mazda3 World Challenge race car.
The grille inserts, side mirrors, fog lamp bezels, the roof panel, and the formerly chrome interior of the front lamps are all painted in bright black. The windows are tinted while the taillight lenses come in dark red.
Both cars stands on lightweight forged aluminum 19×8-inch wheels wrapped with 225/40-19 Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires.
With the help from Tri-Point Engineering, the Mazda3 sedan is fitted with their turbo kit that consists of a rugged cast iron turbo manifold and high-efficiency Garrett GT2871R ball bearing turbo. At 10 psi boost, the 2.5-liter MZR engine could produce 250 hp.
The Mazda3 is also fitted with new brake system featuring rotors and callipers from a MazdaSpeed3 for the front brakes and Mazda5 rotors and callipers for the rear brakes. The suspension system has been replaced with KW adjustable coilovers paired with Tri-Point adjustable rear stabilizer for better handling.
The MazdaSpeed3 meanwhile is fitted with an AEM cold air intake to increase the output power by 20 hp. The MazdaSpeed3 also uses KW coilovers but with modified top mounts on the front struts to increase camber and to provide additional cornering grip.
As for the brake system, MazdaSpeed3 uses four-piston Stoptech callipers and floating two-piece rotors that are almost similar to those used by the World Challenge car.
