ABT Sportsline Volkswagen Scirocco

German car tuning specialist, ABT Sportsline, has released its aerodynamic and performance upgrade package for the Volkswagen Scirocco.
The aerodynamic package consists of new ABT front spoiler, side skirts, rear skirt with a diagonally attached 4-pipe rear muffler, ABT rear wing and ABT insert for license plate.
The suspension system has also been upgraded with ABT suspension springs that lower the car by 30 mm. The ABT Sportsline Scirocco stands on ABT’s AR or BR alloy wheels in 18 to 20 inch wrapped in high performance tires.
The performance package boost the power of the standard 1.4 TSI engine from 160 hp (11 kW) to 200 hp (147 kW), and the 140 hp (103 kW) turbo diesel 2.0-liter to 170 hp (125 kW). Later on this year, ABT Sportsline will also come with a package to increase the power of the 200 hp (147 kW) 2.0 TSI to 240 hp (177 kW).
With the increase of power, the braking system of the ABT Sportsline Volkswagen Scirocco has also been upgraded with ABT brake pads and discs with a diameter of 345 mm.
