Early this year, we were presented with an illustration of the Vantage GT2 by Aston Martin Racing but today, we could see the actual images of the Vantage 2 which were released on the internet prior to its race debut for James Watts Automotive at the first round of the European Le Mans Series at Barcelona on 5 April.
The Aston Martin Vantage GT2 has been designed to be able to run on both standard fuel and E85 bio-ethanol fuel thanks to the successful conversion of the DBRS9 to run on E85 last year.
The new Aston Martin Vantage GT2 completes Aston Martin’s GT categories with the GT1 – DBR9; GT2 – Vantage GT2; GT3 – DBRS9; GT4 – Vantage N24.
