The all-new Audi A5 in the UK will get its first four-cylinder engine with 1.8 liter Turbo petrol engine which also powered the A3, A4, A6 and TT models in the past.
The Audi A5 1.8 TFSI mated with 6-speed manual transmission produces 170 PS at 4,800 rpm and 250 Nm maximum torque at 1,500 rpm through to 4,800 rpm. The A5 clocked 8.4 seconds from 0 to 62 mph with a top speed of 140 mph. The fuel consumption is 39.8 mpg.
Standard features for the new A5 1.8 TFSI includes Milano leather-upholstery, advanced three-zone climate control and rear acoustic parking sensors and electromechanical parking brake.
Xenon head lamps with LED daytime running lights (£775), larger 18-inch wheels, sports seats and further lowered sports suspension (£950), a 505-watt, 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen audio system (£525), the Audi Parking System Advanced with rear-mounted camera (£650) and Adaptive Light swivelling headlights (£325) come as optional features.
OTR price of the Audi A5 1.8 TFSI is £26,190 and first UK deliveries are expected in late November.
