BRABUS SLR Roadster

BRABUS, Mercedes car tuning specialist from Germany will unveil the BRABUS Mercedes SLR Roadster at the Essen Motor Show.

Among the new features from the Roadster are the front spoiler, made from exposed carbon fiber, that attaches to the production bumper for more striking looks and also to minimise lift on the front axle, carbon fiber rear diffuser and six double spokes BRABUS Monoblock VI 20-inch wheels (9.5Jx20 – front and 11.5Jx20 – rear) wrapped in either Pirelli and YOKOMAMA 255/30 ZR 20 and 305/25 ZR 20

The BRABUS SLR Roadster produces 650 hp and 478 kW of torque at 6,500 rpm from the 5.5 liter V8 engine with the help of special camshafts, a fuel cooling system and a high-performance exhaust.

Traction and acceleration improves with the help of BRABUS special clutch-type limited-slip differential with a locking rate of 40 percent. With the modification, the BRABUS SLR Roadster accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds and achieves the top speed of 337 km/h.

The interior of the roadster is designed by BRABUS own upholstery shop where they could customize the design with any type of leather depending on their customers needs. The interior features ergonomically shaped sport steering wheel, integrated buttons for manual shifting of the SLR’s automatic transmission, Sporty BRABUS carbon-fiber, dashboard, center console and door trim.
