Carlsson, an automobile manufacturer already approved by the Federal German Motor Transport Authority, will officially unveil its own developed automobile known as the Carlsson C25 Super-GT at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. Only 25 units of the car will be produced.
The Carlsson C25 Super-GT is powered by a 6-liter V12 Bi-Turbo engine that produces 753 hp (554 kW) and 1,320 Nm of maximum torque at 3,750 rpm. The car sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.7 seconds with the top speed of 352 km/h. T achieve the figures above, the C25 is equipped with stainless steel exhaust system that ends with four tailpipes.
All security-relevant regulations such as pedestrian protection, crash behaviour ESP, ABS, Airbag systems are identical to large series editions with most modern standards.
The C25 Super-GT is fitted with C-Tronic SUSPENSION intelligent lowering system which automatically recognises the road characteristics and driving manners and constantly adjusts the suspension setting accordingly.
The car stands on 20-inch 1/10 UL ultra-light and forged wheels measuring at 9,5×20 and 12×20 inches wrapped with performance tires measuring at 265/30 at the front and 325/25 at the rear. One wheel weights at only 11.2 kg which is 40% lighter than custom light alloy wheels.
Braking system comes in the form of 405 mm large slotted race brake discs at the front and 380 mm race brake discs at the rear axle. Ventilation ducts in front and behind the wheel houses provide cool air to the disc brakes.
Inside, the Carlsson C25 Super-GT features real carbon, tanned buffalo leather and ultra-suede in special colors. Carlsson purposely refrains the use of race seats, race straps, rollover devices and extreme lowering for driveability reasons.
The actual price of the CArlsson C25 Super-Gt will only be announced closer to the Geneva Motor Show.
