2008 Honda Accord Sedan Review

The new 2008 Honda Accord sedan specification details and full product images has just been released by Honda. No more spyshot.
There will be 3 versions of the new Honda Accord in the US i.e. two types of 2.4 liter inline-4 i-VTEC units and aslo a 3.5 liter V6 engine.
The basic version of the 2.4 liter engine could produce 177hp at 6,500rpm, 218Nm of torque 4,300rpm. The other version of the 2.4 liter engine with the help of a reprogrammed ECU and a high-flow muffler with a variable valve silencer could produce 190hp at 7,000rpm, 220Nm of torque at 4,400rpm.
Meanwhile the 3.5 liter V6 SOHC version could produce 268 horsepower at 6,200rpm and 336Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. To further decrease the fuel consumption, it will come with Variable Cylinder Management which control the engine to operation whereby only three, four or all six cylinders will operate at certain speed.
The front suspension of the new Honda Accord will be equipped with a double wishbone front suspension at the front. In the US, the new Accord will have disc brakes on all four wheels and Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) for all models, power lumbar support, auto-dimming inside mirror, compass, CD/MP3 player, auxiliary-input jack and sub-woofer to name a few.
The interior space of the new 2008 Honda Accord is also larger compared to the previous model since it is 76mm longer, 28mm wider and 22mm taller. With the bigger space Honda claimed that the front and rear seating are comfortable enough to accomodate four adults.
