GeigerCars Cadillac CTS-V

GeigerCars of Germany has released its tuning package for the Cadillac CTS-V that increases the power from the 6.2-liter LSA V8 engine from 564 hp to 619 hp at 5,900 rpm thanks toan increase in the air charge pressure.

The maximum torque figure has also increases from 747 Nm to 850 Nm. The GeigerCars Cadillac CTS-V now has a top speed of over 330 km/h thanks to a shortened fifth and sixth gear.

Cadillac Converj Concept Unveiled at 2009 NAIAS

General Motors has unveiled the Cadillac Converj Concept at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit.

The Cadillac Converj Concept is a four-passenger vehicle powered by GM’s revolutionary electric propulsion technology, Voltec, that enable the Converj to achieve 40 miles of gas-and emissions-free electric driving with extended-range of hundreds of miles.

The Voltec electric propulsion system consists of 16-kWh, T-shaped battery, an electric drive unit and a four-cylinder engine generator and uses electricity as its primay source to drive the Converj.

D3 Cadillac CTS

Cadillac tuning specialist based in the US, D3 Cadillac, has released the 2008 Cadillac CTS Performance Exterior Package. The design of the package is not only for style but it also has its functionality.

The larger new stainless steel wire mesh front grill helps to provide adequate cooling for the engine compartment. The front fascia also increases the cooling by adding an additional brake duct pick ups on each side.

Cadillac CTS Coupe Concept

Cadillac released the Cadillac CTS Coupe Concept at the 2008 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in Detroit recently. The Cadillac CTS Coupe Concept has a classic 2+2 interior environment and even though it is based on the CTS sedan, the CTS Coupe shares only the instrument panel, console, headlamps, front fenders and grille with the CTS sedan production model.

The Cadillac CTS Coupe features unique front and rear seats, a continuous console running between the front and rear seats, and custom door panels. The CTS Coupe is also fitted with Recaro custom-trimmed sport seats located in all four positions.

2008 Cadillac Escalade Sport Concept

Apart from the 2008 Cadillac CTS Sport Concept, Cadillac will also feature the Cadillac Escalade Sport Concept at SEMA.

At the exterior, it will feature modified front and rear fascias, 24-inch wheels, a lowered ride height and special aero rockers.

The Cadillac Escalade Sport Concept is powered by a V8 engine mated to a heavy-duty 6L80 six-speed automatic transmission that produces 550 hp.
