Citroën has officially unveiled the SURVOLT Concept at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. Citroën took the essence of the Citroën’s REVOLTE concept and make the SURVOLT sportier.
The Citroën SURVOLT Concept measures at 3.85 m long, 1.87 m wide and 1.2 m high and powered by an all-electric drivetrain and delivers driving pleasure, thrills and performance.

Lexus LFA Officially Unveiled

Lexus has finally unveiled the Lexus LFA at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show. According to Chief Engineer Haruhiko Tanahashi, the LFA is a thoroughbred supercar to deliver a supreme driving experience.
The Lexus LFA chassis and bodywork are constructed using advanced Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) technology instead of aluminum to keep the weight to an absolute minimum. The CFRP is four times the strength of aluminum thus gives the LFA an exceptionally stiff and strong structure and 100 kg lighter if using an equivalent aluminum body. 65% of the body is of CFRP in white while 35% used for the remaining parts.

Ferrari 458 Italia Official Details and Images

Ferrari has finally unveiled the mid-rear engine 458 Italia, the replacement model for the Ferrari F430. The 458 figure represents the displacement and number of cylinders of the sports car. The Ferrari 458 Italia will be presented to the public at the next Frankfurt Motor Show.
The 458 Italia’s styling has been heavily influenced by the requirements for aerodynamic efficiency that generate 140 kg at 200 km/h. At the exterior, the 458 features a single opening for the front grille and side air intakes designed to direct air to the coolant radiators and the new flat underbody. The sports car also comes with small aerolastic winglets which generate downforce.

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X FQ-400 Officially Unveiled

Mitsubishi Motors in the UK has officially unveiled the details and images of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X FQ-400 which Mitsubishi claim as the fastest and most extreme Lancer Evolution ever released by the company.
The FQ-400 is powered by the 2.0-liter turbocharged MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control) petrol engine that produces 403 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 525 Nm (387 lb-ft) of maximum torque at just 3,500 rpm. The Evolution X accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.8 seconds (est.) with an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph.

2010 Subaru Legacy Official Details and Images

Subaru has unveiled the details and images of the new 2010 Subaru Legacy sedan (U.S. Spec) ahead of its public debut at the 2009 New York International Auto Show which will commence from April 10-19. The Legacy was first unveiled in concept form at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit early this year.
The 2010 Subaru Legacy is the fifth-generation Legacy sedan which features Subaru’s core technology such as the symmetrical All-Wheel-Drive (AWD), Subaru Lineartronic CVT (continuously variable transmission), a new engine cradle design and is the roomiest Legacy sedan ever with new levels of comfort and refinement.

Tesla Model S Official Details and Images

Tesla Motors Inc. based in San Carlos, California, designers and manufacturers of electric vehicles has released the official details and images of the Tesla Model S, the world’s first mass-produced highway capable Electric Vehicle (EV). The Model S is a sedan that can carries 7 people (5 adults and 2 children) and travels up to 300 miles per charge with the price tag of $49,900.
The Model S carries its charger onboard and it can be recharged from any 120V, 240V or 480V outlet. It takes only 45 minutes to recharge the Model S from the 480V outlet. The floor-mounted battery-pack meanwhile can be changed out in less time than it takes to the fuel tank allowing the possibility to swap battery-pack at the filling stations.
The volume of the front hood can be made as a second trunk thanks to the floor-mounted battery-pack design. The Tesla Model S can accommodate a 50-inch TV, mountain bike and surfboard at the same time when combining the front hood, the four-bar linkage hatchback rear trunk and the flat folding rear seats.
