2008 Alfa Romeo Brera TI

Alfa Romeo has announced that it will unveil the Alfa Brera TI that is due to go on sale in autumn 2008 at the Paris International Motor Show that will initially be available in with 2.2 JTS engine (manual and Selespeed) and 3.2 V6 engine.

The Alfa Brera TI (Turismo Internazionale) is distinguished by the TI logo at the front wings and features stiffer upgraded suspension, 19-inch alloy wheels inspired by the 8C Competizione and large brake discs and Brembo red one-piece front callipers with a radial attachment.

Alfa Romeo GT Cloverleaf Series

The Alfa Romeo Cloverleaf Series is making a re-entry to the UK market with the release of Alfa GT Cloverleaf coupe which will go on sale on 1 July 2008.

The Alfa GT Cloverleaf series is available in 1.8 TS and 2.0 JTS petrol engines and 150 hp and 170 hp 1.9 JTDM turbodiesel engines.

The GT Cloverleaf receives 18-inch bespoke alloy wheels, satin-effect front grille and door mirrors and also red brak callipers. There are 3 different colors available i.e. Carbonio black, Alfa Red and Atlantico Blue to choose from.

At the interior, the Alfa GT Cloverleaf features leather sports seats, aluminium sports pedals, sport dials with a red background and a high-end Bose sound system.

The 170 hp 1.9 JTDM 16V features an additional badge in white triangle above the front wheel arch, Alfa’s Q2 LSD (Limited Slip Differential) and a sport button that driver could select between two different accelerator pedal response patterns. The price starts at £18,890 for the 1.8-liter petrol while the range-topping 170 hp 1.9 JTDM is priced at £21,980.

Alfa Romeo Mi.To

Alfa Romeo has released more official images and details of the new Alfa Romeo Mi.To. The name Mi.To refers to the car’s production locations in Milan (where it was designed) and Torino (where it will be built).

The Mi.To is actually based on Fiat Grande Punto platform but with its stylistic features borrowed from Alfa Romeo Competizione which can be distinguished from the shape of the headlights and the LED taillights.

Autodelta Alfa Romeo 159 J4 2.2 Compressore

Autodelta has officially unveiled the Autodelta Alfa Romeo159 J4 2.2 C which has become the third member of the exclusive bespoke J-series range, joining the Brera J5 3.2 C and Spider J6 3.2 C in the Autodelta line-up after 18 months of intensive research and development. Booking for the high performance sports saloon starts on 1 July 2008.

The Autodelta 159 J4 2.2 C (C denoting “Compressore”) is powered by a supercharged Alfa Romeo’s impressive 2.2 JTS direct injection petrol engine, the first production application of forced induction to this robust engine. Maximum power has increase from 185 bhp to 245 bhp while the torque has also increase from 230 Nm to 290 Nm with the installation of Rotrex C30-74 supercharger. The car is also fitted with a completely new aluminium inlet manifold as the factory OE plastic unit isn’t able to operate with the 0.65 bar boost level which the Rotrex C30-74 unit produces.

Autodelta Alfa Romeo 159 J4 2.2

Autodelta, Alfa Romeo’s competition department, has announced that it will unveil the bespoke Alfa Romeo 159 J4 2.2 C at the Yacht Harbour of Driessen, Amsterdam, on 20 and 21 June 2008 after 18 months of intensive development of the 2.2 JTS direct injection engine.

The Autodelta J4 2.2 C (C denoting “Compressore”) will become the third member of the exclusive bespoke J-series models, joining the Brera J5 3.2 C and Spider J6 3.2 C in the range when it is commercialised from 1 July 2008.
