O.CT Boehler concept.BS3 Audi S3

Oberscheider Chip Tuning or also known as O.CT Tuning based in Austria has unveiled the Boehler concept.BS3 which is based on the Audi S3 quattro.

The O.CT tuned Audi S3 is equipped with O.CT-Stage 3 Kit which features a specially developed ECU, a deep throated Sportexhaut with integrated Controlfolds, an improved Air Intake System and an additional Intercooler that helps to produce 328 hp and 425 Nm of torque.

Audi A’KIMONO LS2.0 Concept

Teodor Kyuchukov, a PhD student at the of Ruse “Angel Kanchev”, Bulgaria, Department of Industrial Design has developed the Audi A’KIMONO LS2.0 Concept which is based on the original A’kimono Concept which received the third prize at the Desire Design Contest 2007 organized by Domus Academy & Stile Bertone.

The concept is a design study of a futuristic vehicle inspired by Automotive Lighting Sculpture, an artificial lighting system to make the exterior body surfaces visible at night with an invisible lighting source.

Audi Sportback Concept Leaked Images

The Audi Sportback Concept shown in the leaked photos are scheduled to make its appearance at the 2009 North American International Auto Show in Detroit anytime soon.

According to some reports on the internet, the Sportback Concept represents the future four door 2+2 coupe Audi A7 which will be larger than the current Audi A6 and will go into production by mid-2010.

Audi R8 V10 5.2 FSI quattro Unveiled

Audi has finally released the initial details and images of the much awaited Audi R8 V10 5.2 FSI quattro all-wheel drive. The Audi R8 V10 is built from the knowledge and experience of its participations and victories in the Le Mans races.

The all-new Audi R8 is powered by a 5.2-liter (5,204 cc), ten-cylinder engine that produces 525 hp (386 kW) at 8,000 rpm and 530 Nm (390.91 lb-ft) of torque at 6,500 rpm, almost identical to the racing version.

The Audi R8 V10 with the 6-speed manual gearshifts weights at 1,620 kg (3,571 lb) thus the specific power output is 100.9 hp per liter of displacement where each hp has to drive only 3.09 kg (6.91 lb) of weight. The engine contribute for 258 kg (569 lb) of the car’s overall weight, 31 kg (68 lb) more than the V8.

Audi R8 GT3 Racer

Audi has announced that it will present the Audi R8 GT3 Racer at the Essen Motor Show from November 28 to December 7 and will be joined by other successful members of the Audi motorsport family, this year’s winning Le Mans car, the Audi R10 TDI driven by Rinaldo Capello, Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish and also the Audi A4 DTM driven by Timo Scheider who has just clinched the titile few weeks ago.

PPI Razor GTR Audi R8 Sketches

PPI Automotive Design, Audi tuning specialist from Germany, has released initial sketches of its Razor GTR Audi R8 production supercar that will make its appearance at the Essen Motor Show 2008.

The PPI Razor GTR will be equipped with a specially engineered supercharger, a ram-charged sport air filter and a stainless steel high performance exhaust system and all the components are precisely adjusted to each other with the help of a new ignition map for motor electronics.
