G-POWER BMW M5 Hurricane RS

G-POWER has finally managed to set the fastest sedan in the world with its G-POWER BMW M5 Hurricane RS. The previous record was held by the V12 BRABUS Rocket which is based on the Mercedes-Benz CLS.

The G-POWER BMW M5 Hurricane RS able to achieve the top speed of 367.4 km/h (228.3 mph) whereas the BRABUS Rocket’s record is at 362.4 km/h. The M5 Hurricane RS record was set at the Papenburg test track and certified by the ATP.

LUMMA Design CLR X 650 Based on BMW X6

LUMMA Design, car tuning specialist from Winterlinger Germany, has unveiled its custom BMW X6 known as the LUMMA Design CLR X 650 at the 2008 Essen Motor Show. The CLR X 650 comes with appearance and performance upgrade.

The BMW X6 is fitted with LUMMA Design wide bodykit that broadens the X6 by 5 cm per side by fender extensions. The kit also features front bumper with day light running lights, rear bumper with carbon diffuser, carbon sport look front hood with air ducts, sportive side skirts, carbon side mirrors, headlight eyelids and tanned tail lights.

AC Schnitzer BMW 3-Series Facelift

AC Schnitzer, BMW tuning specialist from Germany, has released its latest tuning package for the BMW 3-Series Facelift Sedan and Touring models that is scheduled to make its appearance at the 2008 Essen Motor Show.

The AC Schnitzer BMW 3-Series Facelift features new bodykit which consists of new front spoiler, side skirts, new sport side mirrors, facelifted rear L-shaped LED lights, a spoiler insert with diffuser look and a rear roof spoiler (for the Touring model). The complete the look, the BMW 3-Series is fitted with the popular Type IV BiColor 18 or 19-inch wheels.

HARTGE BMW E92 M3 Convertible and Coupe

Hartge, BMW tuning specialist from Germany, has released its latest tuning package for the BMW E92 M3 Coupe and Convertible.

The package consists of a front lip spoiler, a boot-lid spoiler, a rear diffuser and carbon fiber mirror caps. Hartge is reported to have raised the electronic speed limit up to 291 km/h (180 mph) for the BMW M3 coupe.

MINI E Electric Car

MINI E Electric Car

The BMW Group will be the world’s first premium car manufacturer to release an electric vehicle for personal use as part of a pilot project in California, New York and New Jersey. The MINI E will debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show on November 19 and 20, 2008.

There will be 500 units of the MINI E electric car to be built which will be powered by a 204 hp (150 kW) electric motor fed by a high-performance rechargeable lithium-ion battery transferring the power to the front wheels via a single-stage helical gearbox. The battery will have a range of more than 240 km (150 miles).

AC Schnitzer BMW X6

BMW tuning specialist from Germany, AC Schnitzer, has released its tuning package for the new BMW X6.

The AC Schnitzer BMW X6 bodykit consists of a front bumper with diagonal air intake and integrated fog lights, a rear bumper with diffuser and integrated exhaust pipe openings with other body color painted components. The X6 stands on AC Schnitzer’s type VII 22-inch black multi-piece alloy wheels.

The BMW vehicle concept images in this post were designed by the third year students of the Instituto Europeo di Design (IED) in Turin.

The students were given the task to design the BMW of 2015 vehicles that would appeal to drivers in their mid-30s.

Wald International BMW M5 Bodykit

Wald International, Japanese tuning specialist has released its new aerodynamic kit for the new E60 BMW M5.

According to Wald, the aero kit is made of a hybrid material consisting of FRP (fiberglass reinforced plastic) and Carbon.
