Project Kahn, UK based car tuning specialist, has unveiled its styling package for the Lotus Elise in conjunction with the 60th anniversary project for Lotus.
At the exterior, the Project Kahn Lotus Elise features front spoiler, ventilated front wings, side sills, rear spoiler and larger side intake ducts and a sports exhaust system. Inside, the car features full leather trim.

Lotus Evora Official Details and Images

Lotus has officially unveiled the new Lotus Evora which was initially known as the Lotus Project Eagle at the 2008 British International Motor Show. According to Lotus, the Evora is the world’s only mid-engined 2+2.
The Lotus Evora was designed in-house by Lotus Design which was led by Russel Carr, Head of Lotus Design, with Steven Crijns, the Design Manager and Anthony Bushell, Senior Designer who is responsible for the interior.
Inside, the Evora features high-tech technology such as the Alpine multi-media system with a 7 inch touch-screen provides advanced audio, satellite navigation, video, Bluetooth hands-free telephone and iPod connectivity functions. The screen can also be used as a monitor for the optional reversing camera.

Lotus Project Eagle

Lotus has released the official details and images of its new mid-engined 2+2 sportscar, the Lotus Project Eagle, which will make its official debut at the 2008 London Motor Show on 22 July 2008, the first all new car from Lotus since the Elise in 1995.
The Eagle is powered by a modified Toyota 3.5-liter V6 VVTi (‘intelligent’ variable valve timing) producing 280 PS and in keeping with the Lotus tradition, the car employs innovative lightweight chassis technology. It clocked 5 seconds from 0 to 60 mph with the top speed of 160 mph.

Lotus Eco Elise

Lotus has announced that it will reveal the Eco Elise concept in the Greener Driving Pavilion at the 2008 London Motor Show from 23 July until 3 August 2008. The Lotus Eco Elise is an environment friendly sports car based on the Elise S but weights at 32 kg (70.5 lbs) less than the standard Elise S which directly reduces the fuel consumption.
The body panels and spoiler, the lightweight Lotus seats are made from sustainable hemp technical fabrics where the hemp has exceptional material properties that make for a very strong fiber. Apart from that, hemp requires low energy to manufacture and absorbs CO2 whilst growing as a plant. Meanwhile, the carpets in the Lotus Eco Elise are made from sisal, another renewable crop as it is a tough, abrasion resistant material.

Lotus Exige GT3

The latest edition of the world’s fastest Lotus, the 2007-spec Lotus Exige GT3, is making its debut at the 2008 Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix.
It’s based on the European race car that competed in the FIA GT3 category which is fitted with extreme aerodynamic aids and a highly developed 1.8-liter engine found in the Exige S road car.

Lotus Entry Level 2-Eleven

Lotus has release its new entry level sports car, the Lotus 2-Eleven which will come with optional Lotus Sport performance parts. The entry level Lotus 2-Eleven price begins at €34,695 (excluding taxes).
The Lotus 2-Eleven, powered by the Elise R normally aspirated engine, was launched during the 2007 Geneva Motor Show could deliver 252 hp but the new entry level 2-Eleven, still be powered by the same engine, delivers 189 hp (141 kW).

2008 Lotus Sport Exige Cup 260

The motor sport division of Lotus Cars Ltd, Lotus Sport, has revealed the 2008 Lotus Sport Exige Cup 260 which is based on the 2007 Exige Cup Car.
The Lotus Sport Exige Cup 260 now produces 260 PS/257 hp at 8000 rpm (5 hp more than previous model) and a torque of 236 Nm/174 lb-ft at 6000 rpm from its supercharged and intercooled engine. The VVTL-i variable cam system ensures that there is a smooth and linear surge of power from low engine speeds all the way to the maximum 8000 rpm (8500 rpm transient for 2 seconds).
The aerodynamic package that come with the Lotus Sport Exige Cup 260 produces over 40 kg of downforce at 160 km/h increasing grip and stability at higher speeds. The Exige Cup 260 clocked 9.9 seconds from 0 to 160 km/h (100 mph) and 4.1 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. The top speed is 237 km/h (147 mph).
The power to weight ratio for the Lotus Sport Exige Cup 260 is 271 hp/tonne (273 PS/tonne) with other standard equipment installed to make it powerful race car. Other features include LTS compound Yokohama A048R tyres, 4-piston AP Racing front brake calipers, adjustable dampers and anti-roll bar, the latest FIA 6-point roll cage and sports driver and passenger seats. The price for the 2008 Lotus Sport Exige Cup 260 is set at 56,034 euro.
Lotus Elise S 40th Anniversary Limited Edition

Lotus Cars has release the Lotus Elise S 40th Anniversary Limited Edition for Mainland Europe to commemorate 40 years of production at the Lotus factory in Hethel in 2007.
The Lotus limited edition is based on the entry-level model of the Elise S. There will be only 50 units available and the allocation is fixed. Germany (15 units), Switzerland (10 units), France (5 units), Belgium (5 units), Italy (6 units) and other countries in Mainland Europe (9 units).
The retail prices including tax and delivery in Germany (39,995 EUR), Switzerland (CHF 58,600), France (40,200 EUR), Italy (40,800 EUR), Belgium (40,600 EUR) and Holland (53,600 EUR)

Lotus Hot Wheels Concept

Lotus was one of the car manufacturers asked by Hot Wheels to come up with a concept car in conjunction with Hot Wheels 40th anniversary at the 2007 SEMA Motor Show.
Lotus presented their Lotus Hot Wheels Concept design with some high resolution images of their 1:5 scaled concept and this will followed with a 1:64 model in the spring of 2008 that will be on sale for all Lotus fans.
The Lotus Project Eagle designers came up with the Lotus Hot Wheels Concept. It is reported that the Lotus Project Eagle car will make its debut as a concept car at the 2008 London Motor Show in July and will go into production later in the same year.
