German tuning specialist, Steinmetz, has developed a styling package for the new Opel Insignia.
The styling package consists of a new front lower spoiler, a custom grille, new side sills and a rear spoiler, twin tail pipes, body stripes and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Opel Insignia Hatchback First Official Images

Opel has released images of the Insignia hatchback ahead of its debut at the London Motor Show later this month.
Both the sedan and hatchback look identical and has the same length of 4,830 mm and the wheelbase of 2,737 mm. The Opel Insignia hatchback will initially be powered by the same seven engine variants as the Insignia sedan.

Steinmetz Opel Corsa OPC

The standard Opel Corsa OPC comes with a 192 hp 1.6 turbo engine but Steinmetz, Opel tuning specialist from Germany, has released its modded version of the Opel Corsa OPC to provide additional 10 hp more to 202 hp. This made possible with the installation of the new left/right silencer to the exhaust system.
The Steinmetz Opel Corsa OPC is fitted with wheel and tires combination of 16 inch to 19 inch where the ST3 can be fitted with size 8.0J x 19“ while the ST4 in 8.0J x 18“. The ST4 wheels come in bicolor, black/silver.

Vauxhall Tigra Sport Rouge Special Edition

The Vauxhall Tigra Sport Rouge Special Edition is actually similar to the Opel Tigra Illusion that was presented during last year’s Geneva Motor Show.
The electro-hydraulic retractable steel roof top of the Tigra is covered with Bordeaux red canvas and 4 body colors are available for the special edition, Metro Blue, Star Silver, Flame Red or Black Sapphire.

Vauxhall Astra VXR Nurburgring Edition

Vauxhall, the British counteroart for Opel, has released its special edition of the Vauxhall Astra dubbed Vauxhall Astra VXR Nurburgring Edition. The special edition Astra is priced at £21,295.
The VXR Nurburgring Edition, based on the standard Astra VXR, features all-white paint finish, lightweight white 18-inch alloy wheels wrapped with bespoke Dunlop tires, dark tinted windows, carbon fiber effect mirrors and B-Pillars and distinctive chequered flag body graphics at the exterior.

Opel Insignia Officially Revealed
Opel has announced that it will unveil the new Opel Insignia at the 2008 London Motor Show starting July 22 and will hit showrooms starting in November. The Opel Insignia was developed at GM Europe’s International Technical Development Center in Rüsselsheim, Germany, and will also be produced there. It is reported that the Insignia will replace the current Opel Vectra sedan and will be sold in the U.S. as the next-gen Saturn Aura.
The Opel Insignia is a 4.83 meter five-seater with a coupe-like roofline featuring a distinctive radiator grille with a newly-designed Opel emblem, a sweeping front and rear light “wing” signature and a “blade” side contour that begins directly behind the front wheel and glides through the entire side of the body at the exterior.

2009 Opel Insignia Leaked Images
Opel will reveal the new 2009 Opel Insignia in a few days time but leaked images of the car has already spread on the internet.
It is reported that the new Insignia will be powered by 5 petrol engine variants and 4 diesel engine variants.
The petrol powered Insignia consists of 115 hp 1.6-liter, 140 hp 1.8-liter, 180 hp 1.6-liter Turbo, 200 hp 2.0-liter Turbo and 260 hp 2.8-liter V6 Turbo.

Opel Corsa Limited Edition

The Opel Corsa Limited Edition was the result of the work by Opel’s 120 young trainees and was featured at the Leipzig Motor Show.
According to Opel Chairman, Hans Demant, the limited edition Corsa was initially a project to create a prototype model but ended up as a limited edition production model. There will be only 1,000 units to be produced and sales are scheduled on June 2008 with the price starting from €15,850.
