Renault Megane Renault Sport Unveiled at 2009 Geneva

Renault has unveiled the new Megane Renault Sport at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show that comeswith two chassis choices, Sport and Cup limited slip differential for better traction.

The new Renault Megane Renault Sport is powered by a new-generation 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine that produces maximum power of 250 hp (184 kW) at 5,500 rpm and 340 Nm of maximum torque at 3,000 rpm (20 hp and 40 Nm more than the Megane R26.R). The engine is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.

Renault Sandero Sand’ Up Concept

Renault has unveiled the Sand’ Up Concept which is based on the Sandero Stepway at the Sao Paulo Auto Show in Brazil.

The Renault Sandero Sand’ Up was designed in Brazil and has a 2+2 coupe/convertible configuration with movable hard top that can be converted into a pick up.

Renault Clio Renault Sport R3 Access Rally Car

Renault Sport Technologies has released the Clio Renault Sport R3 Access which is an entry level version of the model developed for customers wishing to compete in rallies. The rally car is based on the Renault R3 Maxi.

The Renault Clio Renault Sport R3 Access maintain many basic features from Maxi such as the Clio Renault Sport bodyshell strengthened by a welded roll-cage incorporating more than 40 meters of tubing, the clutch, the six-speed sequential gearbox and limited slip differential, the steering rack, the electrical system and the Magneti-Marelli ECU which incorporates the data acquisition system.

2009 Renault Megane Trophy Race Car

Renault has released the new Megane Trophy that will compete in the 2009 Renault World Series. The World Series was created in 2005 where enthusiasts can compete with their own Renault car.

The 2009 Renault Megane Trophy is based on the new Megane Coupe which is powered by the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s mid-rear 3.5-liter V6 24V engine that produces 360 hp.

Renault Megane R26.R

Renault has unveiled the limited edition Megane R26.R at the 2008 British International Motor Show. The Renault Megane R26.6 is based on the Megane F1 Team R26 with the same engine, gearbox and limited slip differential but 123 kg lighter with specific suspension calibration.

There will be only 450 units to be built at the Alpine Renault factory in Dieppe, France and available for sale in October 2008.
At the exterior, the Renault Megane R26.6 features varnished carbon bonnet, red 18-inch wheels, new spoiler and graphics, and available in 7 body colors including Lune Grey, Nacre White and Dynamo Blue.
