JE DESIGN, car tuner from Leingarten, Germany, has released its sport program for the new Volkswagen Scirocco which can be ordered from free accessory dealers. The program comes in both appearance and performance upgrades.

The JE DESIGN performance kit (1,249 €) helps the standard 200 hp 2.0-liter TFSI engine to produce 244 hp (180 kW) at 6,000 rpm and increase the maximum torque from 280 Nm to 350 Nm at 3,350 rpm.

With the increase of power, the JE DESIGN Volkswagen Scirocco accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.6 seconds, 0.6 seconds faster than its serial counterpart with the maximum speed of 242 km/h, an increase of 7 km/h.

Volkswagen Scirocco Studie R Unveiled at Bologna Motor Show

Volkswagen has unveiled the Scirocco Studie R at the Bologna Motor Show 2008. The Volkswagen Scirocco Studie R is based on the Scirocco GT24 which raced to success in its class at the Nürburgring 24-hour endurance race in May 2008.

The Scirocco Studie R is powered by an uprated 2.0-liter engine that produces 270 PS (198 kW) and mated to a 6-speed dual clutch transmission.

Rieger Styling Kit for Volkswagen Scirocco

Rieger Tuning, car customizer and bodykit specialist from Germany, has unveiled its latest styling kit for the Volkswagen Scirocco.

The kit features Audi R8 like front bumper, Lamborghini-style scissor doors, a choice of two custom rear bumpers, a grille for the rear bumper spoiler with air inlets, two types of side skirts and twin-exhaust rear end, carbon look components and stainless steel muffler.

Volkswagen Scirocco Collectors’ Edition at 2008 Essen

Volkswagen has premiered the Volkswagen Scirocco Collectors’ Edition for the public at the 2008 Essen Motor Show starting from November 28 to December 7.

There will be only 100 units of the Volkswagen Scirocco Collectors’ Edition to be produced and will be available early next year.

ABT Sportsline Volkswagen Scirocco Official Details

ABT Sportsline, car tuning specialist from Germany, has officially unveiled its tuning package for the Volkswagen Scirocco. ABT Sportsline will unveil the package at the 2008 Essen Motor Show on November 28.

The ABT Sportsline Volkswagen Scirocco features new bodykit which consist of ABT front skirt, side skirts, rear skirt with ABT 4-pipe rear muffler, insert for licence plate and ABT rear wing.
The ABT VW Scirocco stands on either ABT BR or AR alloy wheels with sizes ranging from 18 to 20-inch with fitting tires and wheel spacers. The Scirocco is also fitted with ABT springs to lower the car by 30 mm.

The complete ABT Upgrade Kit for the Volkswagen Scirocco consists of the design pack, the 4-pipe rear muffler, the springs and complete wheel sets (19-inch AR alloy wheels, diamond-machined and black, plus tires and wheel spacers) is available during the launch in January 2009. The kit will be priced at 5,990 Euros.

MTM Volkswagen Scirocco R

Motoren Technik Mayer (MTM), car tuner from Germany, has released its performance and appearance package for the Volkswagen Scirocco.

The MTM Volkswagen Scirocco R is powered by a 200 hp 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged engine which is tuned to produce 272 hp and 350 Nm of torque for the basic Scirocco R. The highest-spec MTM Volkswagen Scirocco R meanwhile able to produce 380 hp with the help of reprogrammed ECU.

MCCHIP Volkswagen Scirocco

MCCHIP, car tuner from Germany, has unveiled its tuning package for the Volkswagen Scirocco that will be presented at the ESSEN Motor Show in Germany starting from 29 November until 7 December 2008.

With the help of MCCHIP’s tuning chip which is priced at only 849 Euros, the 2.0-liter TFSI turbocharged engine able to produce 246 hp (standard is 200 hp) and 346 Nm of torque.

2008 SEMA: Volkswagen Super CC Performance Concept

Volkswagen has unveiled the Volkswagen Super CC Performance Concept which is based on the new Passat CC at the 2008 SEMA Show in Las Vegas. The Super CC Performance was designed by the Volkswagen Design Center in California with assistance from APR, Recaro, H&R Suspension and Brembo North America.

The Super CC Performance Concept features black chrome exterior accents, grey pearl paint with custom front and rear bumper, side panels and machined aluminum spoiler at the exterior. Inside, the Volkswagen Super CC Performance features high-gloss piano black accents offset by matte black graphics, black leather Recaro seats and matching floor mats highlighted with white piping.

JMS Volkswagen Polo Racelook

JMS, car tuner from Germany, has released its visual upgrade package for the Volkswagen Polo which consists of new front bumper (269 Euro), new side skirts (219 Euro) and a new rear bumper (259 Euro).
