Lexus LFA Officially Unveiled

Lexus has finally unveiled the Lexus LFA at the 2009 Tokyo Motor Show. According to Chief Engineer Haruhiko Tanahashi, the LFA is a thoroughbred supercar to deliver a supreme driving experience.

The Lexus LFA chassis and bodywork are constructed using advanced Carbon Fibre Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) technology instead of aluminum to keep the weight to an absolute minimum. The CFRP is four times the strength of aluminum thus gives the LFA an exceptionally stiff and strong structure and 100 kg lighter if using an equivalent aluminum body. 65% of the body is of CFRP in white while 35% used for the remaining parts.

Lexus LF-Ch Concept First Official Details

Lexus has officially unveiled the images and details of the Lexus LF-Ch Concept ahead of its official debut at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show.

The Lexus LF-Ch Concept is the first full hybrid from Lexus and it is Lexus’s first approach to the European premium compact segment. Lexus claims that the LF-Ch will claim the largest share of the European premium car market by next year.

Lexus Premium Compact Concept Teaser

Lexus, Toyota’s luxury division, has released its first official teaser of its Premium Compact Concept which will be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show on 15 September 2009.

According to Lexus, the Lexus Premium Compact Concept will demonstrate a mix of technical innovation and ground-breaking design that promises to raise the bar in the premium compact segment.

Lexus IS Convertible F-Sport Performance Kit

Lexus has released the F-Sport performance accessories for the IS 250C and the IS 350C convertible.

The Lexus convertible IS250C and IS 350C feature F-Sport 18 and 19-inch forged alloy wheels, F-Sport front and rear brake, F-Sport shock absorber and lowering spring set, F-Sport sway bar set, F-Sport rear chassis member brace, F-Sport performance exhaust system and F-Sport performance air intake.
