Proton in collaboration with Italdesign Giugiaro has released the first image of the new Proton Hybrid Concept which will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show starting from 4 to 14 march 2010.
The car is based on a hybrid system with the aim of optimising the available on-board space and car ergonomics. According to Giorgetto Giugiaro, Chairman of Italdesign Giugiaro, the interior of the car is as spacious as a segment D saloon car while maintaining the exterior dimensions of a segment A car.

Proton R3 Satria

Proton will unveil the new Proton R3 Satria at the Melbourne International Motor Show on 29 February 2008. The new R3 Satria is based on the new generation hot hatch Satria Neo.
The R3 Satria is developed by Proton owns special vehicles and motorsport arm at its headquarters in Shah Alam, Malaysia. R3 stands for Race, Rally, and Research. R3 is headed by Tengku Djan Ley, former Lotus engineer and prominent Malaysia race driver.

Proton Persona Envy

I found few great pictures of the limited edition of the Proton Persona from e-kereta.com. It is called Proton Persona Envy. I guess the specs will be more or less the same as the standard version where it’s powered by the 1.6 liter normally aspirated Campro engine.

Proton Sedan Gen2 Teaser

Proton is going to launch it’s new sedan this coming August and they has developed a video teaser to showcase the car. It looks like a Gen2 with an additional bonnet. At a glimpse, you’ll notice it looks like the new Mitsubishi Lancer. I bet somebody will come up with Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X bodykits for the Proton new sedan

Proton Gen2 Hybrid

Proton and Lotus Engineering are collaborating to develop a Gen2 1.6 liter Campro engine which is equipped with a Lotus Engineering’s EVE hybrid technology. EVE is stands for Efficient, Viable, Enviromental and basically it’s a 30 kiloWatt (40 horsepower) electric motor.
