The original AC/Shelby Cobra was born in the 1960s and it all started when Surrey based British sports car company AC built the Ace roadster and at the same time Caroll Shelby, American ex-racing driver, requested AC to modify the Ace to accept a V8 engine to compete against the Chevrolet Corvette.
Designer Jamie Martin has released its version of the successor to the AC/Shelby Cobra dubbed the Cobra Venom V8.
The Cobra Venom V8 is powered by a supercharged Ford V8 engine that could accelerate the Venom V8 from 0 to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds with the top speed of 214 mph. Read more and for more renderings of the Cobra Venom V8 here.
