edo Competition Ferrari Enzo XX Evolution

edo Competition Motorsport GmbH has released its custom Ferrari Enzo just merely two months ago, the edo Competition Ferrari Enzo XX, but they have come back with another version, the edo Competition Ferrari Enzo XX Evolution which is 100 kg (220 lb) lighter and produces 180 hp more than the stock Enzo.

edo increases the displacement of the stock 6.0-liter engine to 6.3-liter and install new camshafts, new titanium valve spring retainers and connecting rods, modified clinder heads, new high performance exhaust headers, high flow catalytic converters, mufflers and air filters, new solid tappets, a new high peprformance clutch available with “strada” or “pista” friction pads and a more powerful oil pump. A stainless steel muffler featuring remote-controlled butterfly valves is available upon request.

With the modifications above, the Enzo XX Evolution produces 840 hp, an increase of 180 hp from the stock 660 hp and 780 Nm (575 lb-ft) of maximum torque at 5,800 rpm. According to edo, without mufflers more than 860 hp is possible.

edo Competiton also manage to reduce the weight of the XX Evolution by 100 kg (220 lb) thus helps the supercar to sprint from 0 o 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.2 seconds, 200 km/h (124 mph) in 9.0 seconds and 300 km/h in just 19 seconds. The top speed is more than 390 km/h (242 mph).

The transmission shift times has also increases from 110 ms to only 60 ms which is only 20 ms slower than a F1 car.

The Enzo XX Evolution uses a retuned edo/KW race suspension system from the FIA GT series. Other features include tire pressure monitoring system, 19-inch front wheels and 20-inch rear wheels with 335 mm wide tires and new drive shafts which are 4 kg (8.8 lb) lighter and more robust.

At the exterior, the edo Competition Ferrari Enzo XX Evolution features a complete exhaust system with tips machined from billet aluminum relocated to the top of the body, newly developed rear skirt that comes with winglets and a rear wing profile, adjustable in 3 steps, a new retractable rear wing with a taller flap and new LED tail lights.
