Falen Concept 17.1

Dowdeswell and Hardie, Scottish design studio, has released details and images of its supercar dubbed Falen ‘Concept 17.1’, named after a demon from the folklore.
The Falen will be powered by a Judd GV5 S2 V10 competition engine mated to a 5-speed transaxle gearbox producing 800 bhp (600 kW).
The engineers at Judd is working to fine tune the engine for road use and to ensure that the weight of the engine is at around 130 kg so when combined with the Falen’s carbon fiber monocoque chassis with carbon fiber bodywork and active rear wing, the overall weight will be at around 1,000 kg.
