Genaddi Design Group, a company in Green Bay Wisconsin in the United States, builders of the Ford GTX1 Roadster have released the renderings of a removable carbon fiber hard top that they will be producing for the Murcielago Roadster owners according to the press release.
The top is designed to fit easily in the front bonnet of the car and go on and off the car in about one minute.
The hard top designed by Genaddi come in 6 pieces including with rear glass window. With the hard top, the owner of the Lamborghini could drive the supercar as a Roadster, then as a hard top, a T-top, and lastly as a Targa top.
All the pieces of the hard top come in either dull or gloss finish of carbon fiber but not painted and they are very light weight and easy to be handled by anyone. Genaddi uses proprietary system for keeping it water tight.
Production for the hard top will start in May 2008 and will be priced at $26,000 and will be available directly from Genaddi Design Group or through participating Lamborghini dealers.
