GTbyCITROEN at 2008 Paris Motor Show

Citroen has unveiled its show car, the GTbyCITROEN, at the 2008 Paris Motor Show which is a style replica of a vehicle from the digital world. The two-seater car was designed by Citroen in the partnership with Polyphony, designer of the driving simulation game Gran Turismo on Playstation 3.
The GTbyCITROEN features wide air intakes and clear-cut horizontal headlamps consist of blue LEDs at the front, chrome chevrons on the bonnet, carbon rearview mirrors and large wraparound windscreen flows seamlessly into the roof and on into the rear mobile airfoil at the exterior.
Other than the large air intakes, in order to improve the aerodynamics, the GTbyCITROEN is fitted with a flat underside, a mobile spoiler and air diffuser at the rear to reduce lift and drag.
The car measures at 4,960 mm long, 2,080 mm wide and 1,090 mm tall and it stands on diamond-effect 21-inch aluminum wheels.
Inside, the GTbyCITROEN features the on-board ambience allies rich, premium, extensively worked materials with a more high-tech effect for the driving position, inspired by the world of motorsports. It also comes with gullwing doors that allow the driver and co-driver to slip into their seats and get out on the track as quickly as possible.
Apart from that, the GTbyCITROEN features dark leather seats fitted with a four-point harness, top-stitched leather door panels and floor, copper sculptured dashboard, leather-and-steel steering wheel, key driving information such as the speed and navigation data in red LEDs onto the windscreen.
