HAMANN “Flash” BMW X5

HAMANN has released their modified version of the new BMW X5 that was just released recently. The HAMANN BMW X5 comes in 3 ranges of wheels i.e. 20, 22 and 23-inch alloy wheels.

At the exterior, the HAMANN BMW X5 features new wider front spoiler, rear apron, fender extension and roof spoiler.

To increase the power, HAMANN has to reprogramme the BMW Motronic ECU. The X5 3.0si engine power is further increase to about 14 bhp and the torque improved for about 25 Nm more. As for the other version of engine, the X5 3.0d, the stock power of 235 bhp is increased to 265 bhp and 600 Nm of torque.

As for the X5 3.0sd with the stock power of 286 bhp, the power is further increase to 320 bhp and 660 Nm of torque. Other version of engine that is also getting the improvement is the 8-cylinder 4.8i with 18 bhp increase.

The exhaust system is upgraded with sports headers (gas engine), sports metal catalytic converters (gas engine) and a sports rear silencer. Customers can also order either a 2-pipe (oval, 145mm in diameter) or 4-pipe-variant (round, 76 mm diameter) made from stainless steel.

The suspension system of the X5 has also been upgraded to reduce its center of gravity. For the vehicles that have level regulation, it is lowered to about 40 mm in front. As for vehicles without level regulation or air suspension, the vehicles are lowered 40 mm at the front and 30 mm at the rear.

The braking system has also been upgraded to 405×34 mm slotted and ventilated brake discs, aluminium disc chamber, sports brake linings, steelflex brake pipes and silver 6-piston fixed calliper disc brakes a the front. At the rear, the X5 is fitted with 4-piston brake system with 345x28mm slotted and ventilated brake discs.

At the interior, the HAMANN “Flash” BMW X5 features an exclusive black foot mat flooring, aluminium foot pedal or an aluminium foot rest, extravagant leather livery, DVD, TV and Play station.
