What a bad timing to start a blog. It’s the World Cup 2006 and the Quarterfinal round has just completed. Germany will meet Italy and France will meet Portugal in the Semis.
I’m a big Argentina fan and they were beaten by Germany during the penalty shootout after they draw 1-1 during normal play time and after 30 minutes extra time. Argentina should have been awarded a penalty when one of Germany’s player touched the ball by hand in the penalty box during normal play time. Argentina players appealed for penalty but the referee and his assistant ignored it. Usually this sort of thing will be shown during replays but the Germany media were brilliant to cover it all up. Not even one replay was shown. The referee and the media were obviously bias.
I don’t bother about the other teams coz all of them were just lucky enough to go this far except for Brazil. I don’t support Brazil but at least it would be more interesting if there are some teams from other continent rather than all are from Europe during the semis.
