Honda UK has released initial images of the European Honda Civic Type-R hatchback MUGEN Edition that will be released in the UK in the third quarter. Only few units of the Type-Rwill be produced.
From the images, the MUGEN civic Type-R comes with a more aggressive aero kit which consists of larger front splitter and new rear wing.
Other features include new suspension system, MUGEN’s new I-TCMS tire monitoring system, Brembo 12.6-inch slotted discs at the front and 11.1-inch at the rear, 18-inch alloy wheels, new exhaust system and a pair of Recaro bucket seats.
The Honda Civic Type-R hatchback MUGEN Edition will be powered by the stock naturally aspirated 2.0-liter Type R engine that has been retuned to produce 237 hp (177 kW) and 217 Nm (160 lb-ft) of torque.

Yes, i have been in one…not bad but nothing special. The point i was tring to make is that the money is petter spent elsewhere. Aerodynamics are all good, but there’s no need for rear downforce on a FWD car.
