Hydrogen Powered Car From Malaysia

One will relate hydrogen to the Hindenburg tragedy or even to the H-Bomb but with the new technology that we have nowadays, hydrogen is more beneficial than what it’s believe to be.

Hydrogen is a renewable energy source, non polluting and it can be obtained easily by breaking down water into 2 parts of hydrogen molecules and 1 part of oxygen molecule as shown below.

2H2O -> 2H2 + O2

So why do we adapt too slow to make hydrogen as a mainstream fuel source? Is it because of politics? If you compare the price of a hybrid car to a conventional car, the former is way too expensive.

From the formula above we don’t really need advance technology to produce a hydrogen powered car. Check out waterpoweredcar.com and you can find that the car runs with 100 % water. Check out the conspiracy theory of water powered car from the site.

Meanwhile Malaysians are fortunate to have its own hydrogen powered car using 50 % water and 50 % water. 50 % is still good enough for me. For instance if you’re spending $400 per month for fuel, you can cut down the cost to $200 per month.

HFT Sdn Bhd together with LM Star Autoworld Sdn Bhd have produced 2 models of hydrogen powered car or known as the Hydroxene System. The models are hybrid SUV LMG Tourer and hybrid 4X4 LMG Trekker.

    All cars got problems, be it Honda City or Toyota Vios….we still can bear with it as long as the car still can be drove while waiting for the part to arrive for replacement. ten of my friends have Honda City Idsi or v-tec 7 speed (model 2003 ~2009), 50% of them complaint of gear box issues, noisy, not smooth, jerking and etc…. repairs were slow, technician do not know how to handle the high tech car (malaysia technician has no quality & know how???)… so you see, expensive car also got problems right??? cheers!!!!

    Hello Elaine Chai ,
    Found this on Star 26-Sep-09: LMG TREKKER cab 2.2 litre 2200cc (Manual) ‘08 Toyota engine, accident free, tip-top, RM36,800. 016-2938746 /?012-3351021, Pandan Indah/ Klang Valley

    Q: worth to buy or not???

  11. Geoff Guo on October 1st, 2009 10:51 am

    My Bad experience with Honda City Service Centre at Alor Setar: Lee Motor. Their technician (Mr Tan) screwed up my car’s at 40K Km service, after the service, the entire car become so slow & lesser power, and the supervisor (Ah Aun) said this is normal and do nothing at all to rectify it, i had to send to Butterworth Honda agent: Motor Ria 3S to check the car, and their engineer managed to tuned it back to ~90% of original condition, thanks god!
    Lesson learnt was: before buy any car, you need to know if their servioce centre is capable to take care of your investment or not! Not all 3S centres are the same, i am dare to say, MOST of malaysian technicians are NO GOOD to handle high tech cars. So before you buy any expensive car ior cheap car, better check the service technician quality first!!!!
    Conclusion: If any technican is good, he is on his own to have his car service workshop already, don’t you think so too???
    Recommendation: So, next time when you service your car, try to find one that is reliable and stick to it. Those under the coconut tree workshop could be the better service place for your car and 50% or lesser cost!!!!
