JE DESIGN of Germany has released its appearance and performance package for the Volkswagen Scirocco.
With the addition of a new ECU, the Volkswagen Scirocco TDI produces 180 hp (133 kW), an increase of more than 25 % from the standard 140 hp (103 kW). The maximum torque has also increases from 320 Nm to 400 Nm at 1,750 rpm to 2,500 rpm.
The JE DESIGN Volkswagen Scirocco TDI sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in 8.4 seconds, 0.9 seconds faster than the standard Scirocco. The top speed also increases from 207 km/h to 213 km/h.
The power of the JE DESIGN Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TDI CR meanwhile increases from 170 hp (125 kW) to 205 hp (171 kW). The maximum torque increases from 350 Nm to 410 Nm.
The Scirocco TDI CR accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds, 0.7 seconds faster than the stock 7.8 seconds. The top speed has also improved from 222 km/h to 229 km/h.
The JE DESIGN Scirocco TDI performance package including assembly costs 1,249 Euros while the Scirocco TDI CR performance package costs 1,449 Euros including VAT and 12-month warranty.
The JE DESIGN bodykit for the Scirocco is made of high-quality ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) while the CNC-milled material ensures a low weight, perfect fitting accuracy and at the same time, the highest material stability.
For 919 Euros including VAT, customers can get a new front spoiler with a center sword in carbon look, a new side skirts with air inlets and a rear skirt attachment. The gull-wing doors cost 1,549 Euros.
The performance parts such as stainless steel muffler with two central oval end pipes (899 Euros), lowering springs (299 Euros) with serial shock absorbers that lower the car by 30 mm and 19-inch multispoke wheels measuring at 8×19” in shadow silver (2,810 Euros) or graphite matt with polish edges (2,930 Euros) wrapped with 235/35 R19 tires.
