Keating, British sports car manufacturer, has revealed details of the Keating TKR racer and SKR tourer that it claims capable to beat Bugatti Veyron for the fastest production car title. Both versions were presented at a launch event in Southport, UK. Keating is already taking the order but the first delivery of the supercar will only occur end of this year.

Both cars are built over a steel space frame structure but weight could be further reduced by changing the structure with carbon fiber. Meanwhile the bodies are made of fiberglass with optional carbon fiber bodies are also available. The dimension of the Keating supercars are 4.31 m long, 1.87 m wide and 1.15 meter high and weighing at 1,190 kg.

The Keating TKR and SKR are powered by General Motors Corvette engine. Buyers for the SKR could choose between a 404 hp 6-liter V8 LS2 engine or a supercharged 656 hp 7-liter V8 LS7 engine. Both versions are mated to a Porsche 5-speed transaxle.

The Keating TKR will be powered by the LS7 engine with two turbochargers which could produce up to 1,500 hp or even higher.
