Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni

Lamborghini has officially unveiled the details and images of the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni which is named after Lamborghini test driver Valentino Balboni. Only 250 units will be available.
Basically the LP 550-2 is based on the all-wheel drive Lamborghini LP 560-4 where the 550 refers to the power output in horsepower while the 2 stands for rear wheel drive.
The 1,380 kg Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 is powered by a 5.2-liter 10-cylinder engine to produce 550 hp (405 kW). The LP 550-2 sprints from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds with the top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph).
Apart from relocating the transmission to the rear axle, Lamborghini engineers had to retuned the springs, dampers, stabilisers and even the tires. The engineers had also to redevelop the rear axle differential, with a 45 % limited slip, recalibrate of the e-gear transmission and adjust the ESP system.
At the exterior, the LP 550-2 features a color strip in white and gold running from the front panel over the roof and parts of the engine cover all the way to the rear spoiler. The supercar still comes with dark grey Scorpius wheels while the callipers come in black, orange or yellow depending on the exterior paint finish. The Gallardo LP550-2 is available in 8 colors from Bianco Monocerus through to Verde Ithaca, or Arancio Borealis to Nero Noctis.
Inside, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni features black full leather upholstery, white strip on both seats, Polar white leather center console, Valentino Balboni badge below the left side windows and the production number of the car.
Other features include transparent engine cover, rear view camera, navigation system with Bluetooth and a lifting system for the front axle to make it easier to drive over obstacles. Optional are e-gear transmission and carbon ceramic brakes.
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 550-2 Valentino Balboni costs €162,000 in Europe, £ 137,900 in the UK and $219,800 in the US, without taxes.

Hooh……thats good and itis named after the test driver.Valentino Balboni….I have seen a Lambo that comes with strips for the first time….and it looks cool too…………
