
The special edition Land Rover Defender SVX was first unveiled at the British Red Cross Ball in London on 22 November 2007 in conjunction with its 60th anniversary and claimed as the most stylish and feature packed Defender ever built by Land Rover.
There will be 90 soft-top and 90 station wagon versions available and come in metallic black paintwork and subtle satin black graphic decals. At the exterior, the Defender features ‘Defender’ and ‘SVX’ badges, silver finished tubular side-steps, clear lens headlamps, a reinforced aluminium front undershield, clear LED rear lights and ‘diamond turned’ 5-spoke alloy wheels.
On the interior, the Land Rover Defender SVX features custom-designed Recaro front seats, an alloy gear knobs, a new audio system with subwoofer and USB socket, iPod cradle and Garmin satellite navigation.
Only 200 units of Land Rover Defender SVX will be built in the UK where 140 units of them will be the 2-seat 90 soft-top Defender while 60 units are the 4-seat 90 station wagon Defender.
