Lexus has released its new special edition for the UK market which is based on the entry-level IS 250. The sporty Lexus IS 250 SR is equipped with performance and styling enhancement with a value more than £3,500.
The Lexus IS 250 SR is powered by a 2.5-liter V6 petrol engine producing 204 bhp and accelerates from 0 to 62 mph in 8.1 seconds but at 8.4 seconds with the optional 6-speed automatic transmission. The IS 250 SR could achieve the top speed in excess of 140 mph.
At the exterior, the car features a full body kit consists of new front, rear and side skirts and a rear spoiler, 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels or optional 5-spoke 18-inch Tsuki rims.
On the interior, the IS 250 SR 10 airbags, climate control, cruise control, smart keyless entry and engine start and sequenced LED interior lighting. Apart from that, the car features aluminum scuff plates and pedals plus heated front seats.
The car comes with the choices of 3 new colors including Velvet Black, Cadoxton Slate, and Argento Ice metallic finishes and all are matched to Worcester Black interior fabric trim. The IS 250 SR will be on sale from 19 May with the price tag of £24,990 (manual) and £25,800 (automatic).
