A businessman from Indiana, David McMahan, and a race car chauffeur, Marlon Kirby, has announced that the Maxximus G-Force built by them is the fastest production car in the world.
The Maxximus G-Force is based on the Ultima GTR 720 and powered by a central mounted Chevrolet 7.1-liter V8 engine fitted with two Turbonetics turbochargers mated with a three-speed transmission to produce 1,600 hp.
The Maxximus G-Force accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.1 seconds, to 100 mph in 4.5 seconds and from 0 to 100 mph and back to 0 in 8.86 seconds. To get all the figures, the fuel can last for 9 minutes only.
The price for the 1,224 kg Maxximus G-Force is set at US$3 million.
