RoratyNews.com revealed that Mazda will be displaying the new Mazda Rotary Coupe Concept at the 2007 Tokyo Autoshow, this October 2007. The concept is based on the Nagare, Ryuga and Kabura concepts.

The Mazda Coupe Concept will be, for the first time, powered by a larger rotary engine compare to the existing 1.3 liter RENESIS and the 1.3 Mazda RX-7 model FD3S which ended its 10 year production on August 2002.

The new engine will be the successor of the Mazda RENESIS 13B-MSP used in the Mazda RX8 and will be called RENESIS II.
