Mitsubishi has released the official pictures of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X GSR exterior and the interior for the Evolution MR.
According to Car and Driver, both will come with 295hp (220kW), 300lb-ft (407Nm) turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The significant difference between the Evolution MR and the GSR is that dual-clutch sequential gearbox is only available for the Evolution MR and the GSR will come with only five-speed manual transmission. This will cause price of the MR to be a bit higher than the GSR.
Also from the report, the starting price for the base Lancer Evolution GSR in the U.S. is around $30,000 and the price for the Evolution MR will be around $40,000. All Evolution X models will have an all new 50-50 power split all-wheel drive system, which can also send up to 80% of the power to either front or rear wheels as standard.
The Evolution X is a bit slower compare to the previous version because it takes 5 seconds to go from 0 to 60 mph but it compensate the flaw with better grip and handling.
