Car tuner from Germany, MR Car Design, has unveiled its Winter Edition upgrade package for the Volkswagen Touran.

The MR Car Design Volkswagen Touran is powered by a modified 2.0 TDI diesel engine to produce 223 hp and 457 Nm of maximum torque thanks to the remapped ECU and a new sports exhaust system. According to firm, the modified Touran can achieve the same performance levels as the Golf V GTI.

The suspension system has been replaced with a KW coilover suspension system that lowers the car by 80 mm. The brake system meanwhile has been upgraded with Stoptech 4-piston fixed callipers and 355×32 mm brake discs.

The MR Car Design Volkswagen Touran stands on 19-inch alloy wheels.
