MTM Audi A5 3.0 V6 TDI

MTM, the tuner from Germany, modified the diesel-powered Audi A5 3.0 V6 TDI to produce 300 bhp (221 kW), an increase of 60 bhp from the standard 240 bhp (176 kW). Maximum torque achieved at 550 Nm compared to the standard 500 Nm.
The top speed also increased to 265 km/h which is 15 km/h faster than the standard Audi A5 3.0 V6 TDI. The car also clocked 5.9 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.
The power enhancement could be achieve after a full 3D software revision that optimises the engine map. Apart from that, the increase in the performance also comes from the MTM 4-pipe rear muffler. Even without any exhaust modifications, the MTM 3.0 TDI could still produces 292 bhp (215 kW).
MTM fitted the Audi A5 3.0 V6 TDI with a perfectly tuned coilover suspension which, through altered axle geometry, has a higher camber value.
The braking system is also improved with the installation of an 8-piston fixed calipers and 380 x 34mm semi-perforated brake discs to improve grip and feel. The braking system also feature steel flex brake lines as well as every attachment part. With this upgrade, the MTM Audi A5 can stop from 100 km/h in just 35 metres.
In term of wheels, MTM fitted the A5 with its own 21 inch “bimoto” wheels which come in finishes “shiny silver”, “titanium” and “diamond cut” wrapped in 295/25ZR21 tires.
