According to Best Car magazine Japan, Nissan is developing a more powerful street-legal version of the Nissan GT-R. It’s not the Nissan GT-R V-Spec but the Le Mans Edition that will carry an “LM Edition” badge which will be built in a limited numbers.
The first LM Edition from Nissan is the Nissan Skyline GT-R 33 that carries the “LM Limited” badge which was only available in a competition blue finish in the late 1990’s. The Nissan GT-R 33 Le Mans Edition was built to commemorate its participation in the Le Mans 24-hours race.
It is reported that the Nissan GT-R Le Mans Edition will be powered by the modified 480 hp 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine to produce 600 hp. Other upgrades include larger brakes, lighter alloy wheels, tuned suspension and transmission system and new aerodynamic kit.
