PIECHA Design, car tuner from Germany, has released its styling kit for the Mercedes-Benz SL R230, known as the Avalange RS.
The PIECHA Design Mercedes-Benz SL R230 – Avalange RS features the R230’s classic four-eyed face on the 2008 facelift model. The car is also fitted with one-lamella grill, enlarged Mercedes star, fog lights with chrome rings, LED daytime running lights, an optional Parktronic system for the front and back spoilers, chrome fins on the air outlet of the bonnet and on the side of the car, dynamically designed side skirts with reverse air inlets, new rear diffuser, PIECHA Quadro sport rear muffler and a rear spoiler lip on the boot lid.
The Avalange RS kit was subject to extensive testing of over 320km/h by TÜV Austria [Austrian Association for Technical Inspection] and was also officially cleared for open AMG versions.
The PIECHA Design Mercedes-Benz SL R230 stands on 20-inch High Gloss Silver or Satin Black PIECHA dp3Avalange 10-spoke alloy wheels measuring at 9.5×20” wrapped with 255 tires at the front and 10.5×20” wrapped with 305 tires at the rear.
Customers can also choose to fit the SL R230 with PIECHA dp1 CC wheels with chiselled spokes in sizes 9.5×20”, 10.5×20” and 11.5×20” wrapped with 255 and 305 tires.
PIECHA also installed its power converter ‘Intermedia” which eliminates the delay in acceleration and the slow response time of the throttle to the Mercedes SL R230.
Other features include Varioroof comfort module which allows the driver to open and close the convertible top, even whilst driving at speeds of up to 60 km/h by pressing a few buttons on the serial key and DVD activation module.
